Hi dearies of TWSS 4B 2005!
Not sure if many (or any) of you still visit this blog, so I've decided to change the password of this blog account so only moi here can access it. It was wonderful and uplifting seeing so many of you coming back on the eve of Teacher's Day. Although your presents were lovely, your PRESENCE was lovelier =)
Keep in touch k

Tying up loose ends...
Hi darlings,
Wonder how each of you are doing now that O levels has officially started. Wanted to chat a little while with those of you who came for you Mother Tongue paper on Monday but had no time to as I had to count and check scripts. It's not easy being Presiding Examiner ok! =) Hope the paper was manageable... Ganbatte!! (Japanese for 'press on')
Some announcements for your digestion (& maybe indigestion as well...haha)
1) EL Mock Exam P2 (just to give you another feel of doing the paper under time constraint) - Sat, 5 Nov, 0900-1130, IT Rm 1 (include time to go thru' the paper)
- pls pass this info to everyone in 4B and those who are coming, inform me so that I can get the correct number of scripts ready
- remember to read a little, write a little, hear a little ENGLISH everyday as your exam is in another week's time
2) Been doing spring cleaning of my desk... like a squirrel who hoards nuts, I realised I've been hoarding your stuff. I found some of your exam papers from last year as well as assignments (both EL and Lit) and I've placed them in my book drop outside the staff room. Go and collect them if you come to school, ok?
Loving and praying for good results,
Ms Lee

Why God Made Friends
God made the world with a heartful of love,
Then He looked down from Heaven above,
And saw that we all need a helping hand,
Someone to share with, who'll understand.
He made special people to see us through
The glad times and the sad times, too;
A person on whom we can always depend,
Someone we can call a friend.
God made friends so we'll carry a part
Of His perfect love in all our hearts.

English and Literature Conferencing
Dears,
Hope all of you liked what I gave you earlier.
I'm not putting up the schedules up on the blog because I can't copy the table. However, I've passed the English schedule to Kylie already. Please make sure you book your slots by Monday's graduation ceremony.
As for the Literature schedule, I'll be passing it to Jerine tomorrow when you have Physics. So those doing Literature, please also make sure that you get your slots by Monday.
After getting your slots, please copy the date and time down in your diary so you won't forget about it.
Alright, see you people on Monday!
Love,
Ms Lee

Precious Princes and Princesses,
This blog has been set up for you.
As you run the final lap of the secondary marathon, let this be the space where you can express your thoughts and feelings...with great care in the words you use, of course, in the light of all the hoo-ha that has been made about blogging in the newspapers recently =).
As you move into the next stage of your life's journey, let this be the space where you can keep one another updated about important milestones (which JC/Poly/Uni you will go to, when you get your first job/married, when you have your first child and so on).
It has been an awesome privilege for me to have accompanied you thus far as your teacher, coach, counsellor, mentor, sister, 'mother' (!!!!) and friend. God willing, may I continue to do so...
Hope to see your postings soon,
Ms Lee aka Your Royal Highness aka Elaine (which you may use ONLY after Prom Nite)
P.S. As I was writing this, Ms Tan came by my table and she asked me to remind all of you to be "the brightest stars in the darkest of nights"!
